The Child and Adolescent Neurology Clinic provides world-class take care of an array of neurologic conditions affecting children. We love them for children of every age group, from newborns to teens.
We consists of child neurologists with advanced expertise and training in a variety of areas associated with children’s brain health. Along with the dedicated staff within the Pediatric Brain Center, we attempt to aid families in their child’s care, from coordinating same-day appointments with multiple subspecialists, to linking parents to sources in and outdoors of UCSF.
Frequently, youngsters are evaluated within the Neurology Clinic after which known our niche clinics for additional highly specialized care. A few of these clinics include:
- The Pediatric Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease Center, probably the most comprehensive programs available within the U.S.
- The Pediatric Epilepsy Center of Excellence, rated an amount four center — the greatest possible rating — through the National Association of Epilepsy Centers.
- The Pediatric Headache Center, the very first focus on free airline Coast focused on treating kids with treatment-resistant headache.
- The Physical Neurodevelopment and Autism Program, which is centered on evolving the understanding and management of autism spectrum disorders and related conditions.
